Boots on the ground?

Pres. Obama has stated that he does not want to put combat boots on the ground in Iraq. I look at all the money we spent over there and lives that have been lost and the tragedies that have happened to our military families. All as a result of the War in Iraq. Don't get me wrong, I am a patriot. But I guess as I grow older, I am weary of being the world's police. We have pulled out of Iraq, and it doesn't take two years before it all starts crumbling again. And what did we gain for all of our trouble?  Loss of precious American blood, increased national debt. Now the Iraqi government is blaming the US for its troubles. Seems like we always try to help these countries and yet they still hate us. It just gets a little old. And I don't have a lot of confidence in our current administration either. So if you guys don't mind, I wish we would just sit this one out.
